Rays sign Felipe Lopez
The infielder could net some $1 million in guaranteed salary plus $1 million in performance incentives if he makes the Rays' major league roster.
"I think I'll have a great opportunity to make the team," said Lopez, who lives in Orlando, Fla. "It will be very exciting to play close to my home."
He has a .266 career batting average with 88 home runs, 428 RBIs and a .336 on-base percentage.
