Milton Bradley suspended for one game
Bradley initially asked the players' association to appeal the suspension that was handed down on Tuesday, but dropped his appeal and served the suspension on Tuesday night when Seattle opened a homestand against Texas.
When approached in the clubhouse before the game, Bradley asked reporters to get away from his locker.
"He decided to get it out of the way," Seattle manager Eric Wedge said.
Bradley hit an RBI double in the third inning of Seattle's 2-0 win Saturday night and was standing at second base when the problem started. After teammate Miguel Olivo was called out on a close play at first base, Bradley began arguing with second base umpire Gerry Davis and was ejected.
