HAPPY 100TH!
"Take Me Out to the Ballgame" was written and composed by Jack Norworth and Albert Von Tilzer respectively, and the chorus is now sung at every major league ballpark. But the song has become most closely associated with the late Harry Caray (see video above), the former White Sox and Cubs broadcaster who led Chicago fans in singing the song from the 1970s until 1997.
Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack,
I don't care if I never get back,
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game."

With just a few breaks, some pitchers who've been better than their records would suggest might've been headed to the All-Star Game.
Nolan Reimold, Adam Jones and Nick Markakis give the Orioles a young outfield threesome worth envying.
Shouldn't we be more interested in the list of 104 PED users than the list of 66 MLB All-Stars? Gene Wojciechowski
