| Player News (last updated: June 30, 2009) |
News: Lincecum was once again brilliant Monday, tossing a two-hit shutout against the Cardinals. Spin: Lincecum walked none and struck out eight in the victory. He improved to 8-2 and needed just 95 pitches (60 strikes) to finish his third complete game over his last four starts (he pitched eight innings in the other). While Dan Haren also has a strong argument, Lincecum is a candidate to start the All-Star game. |
