Tigers July 31: Acquired pitcher Jarrod Washburn from the Seattle Mariners for pitchers Luke French and Mauricio Robles. |
| Player News (last updated: November 18, 2009) |
News: Washburn says the arthroscopic surgery on his kne in October was minor and he's almost back to full strength. "It feels great now, almost like I didn't even have a surgery. So, I don't see it being a problem for me in the future," he told FoxSports.com. Washburn has said there's mutual interest in returning to Seattle and he'd also like to play for Minnesota or Milwaukee close to his Webster, Wis. home. Spin: The knee injury doesn't look like an issue for 2010. It looks like he'll have several suitors this offseason but may take a home town discount to pay for the Twins or Brewers. |
