In Game 1, Koufax struck out 15 Yankees; in Game 4, he beat them 2-1 to complete the first-ever sweep of the Yanks in a World Series. For the series, Koufax struck out 23, walked only three and allowed 12 hits in 18 innings. The only runs he allowed came on home runs -- Tom Tresh in Game 1 and Mickey Mantle in Game 4.
