Sound off on the Diamondbacks
Anything is possible in the desert. But just as nothing is guaranteed in life, there are no sure things in baseball. So the Diamondbacks need everything to fall into place to make a run.
Strong pitching is on Arizona's side. Its starting rotation is filled with aces from top to bottom. Provided Brandon Webb, Randy Johnson, Livan Hernandez and Doug Davis all stay healthy, 65-70 wins from these four alone is a possibility.
Factor in all the young talent -- it's not a question of if the kids will have an impact, but when -- and this could be one dangerous team.
Then again, hope can be a four-letter word sometimes. That's why they play the games.
Will the D-Backs field a monster lineup this season, or are they a year away from contending? Let us know what you think.
