PHILADELPHIA AT NY METS, POSTPONED (RAIN)

FLUSHING, New York (Ticker) -- The series finale between the
Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets will have to wait until
Monday.

Sunday's game between the Phillies and Mets was postponed due to
rain. The game is rescheduled for Monday at 12:10 p.m. EDT.

The starters have not been announced, but New York was scheduled
to pitch John Maine against Jamie Moyer in the final game of a
three-game set.

New York (79-49) entered Sunday 14 1/2 games ahead of
second-place Philadelphia (65-64) in the National League East.
The Phillies are 1 1/2 games behind the Cincinnati Reds for the
wild card lead.
