• Summary: Prince Fielder homered twice and Rickie Weeks returned to the lineup with a career-high four hits en route to a 9-5 win over the Dodgers.
• Fantasy stat: Fielder and teammate J.J. Hardy lead the NL with 14 homers each. • Figure this: It's the third multi-homer game of the season for Fielder and the sixth of his two-year career. • Bring 'em home: Weeks drove in three to break out of a 10-game RBI drought. • Numbers game: Jeff Kent hit his 352nd career homer to move into a tie with Ellis Burks for 71st all-time while Luis Gonzalez tied Joe Adcock for 85th with No. 336. • Quotable: "He's a strong young hitter, which he showed tonight." -- Brett Tomko on Fielder -- ESPN.com news services |
