TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -- Ray Durham hit a three-run double for the San Francisco Giants and Torii Hunter had his second homer of the spring for the Los Angeles Angels in a 6-6 tie Saturday in a split-squad game.
Durham went 2-for-2 and hit his double in the Giants' four-run fourth off Angels reliever
Jason Bulger. Hunter went 1-for-3 and is hitting .600 this spring. He hit a solo homer off left-hander
Jose Capellan.
Right-hander
Brad Hennessey, who led the Giants with 69 appearances and 19 saves in 2007, made his fourth appearance and first spring start. He allowed four hits and two runs in three innings.
Angels left-hander
Joe Saunders, 8-5 with a 4.44 ERA last season, allowed two hits and a run with three strikeouts in his second spring start. He worked two scoreless innings in his first outing.
"Joe looked great," Angels manager Mike Scioscia said. "He changed speeds really well. He did all the things he needs to do in the regular season."
Saunders should fill in for injured Angels starter
Kelvim Escobar at the beginning of the season. Bulger, a candidate for a spot in the Angels bullpen, allowed four runs and four walks with two strikeouts in 1 2-3 innings.
