Schafer scores winning run as Braves edge Nationals in 10th inning
ATLANTA -- Kelly Johnson decided six hours was long enough for the Atlanta Braves' home opener.
Johnson drove in Jordan Schafer with a 10th-inning single to bail out Atlanta's bullpen, and the Braves beat the Washington Nationals 6-5 on Friday night in a rain-delayed game.Fast Facts

• Yunel Escobar was 3-for-5 with three RBIs for Atlanta, including his first home run of the season in the third inning.
