Yankee Stadium, New York, NY
NEW YORK -- Scott Feldman stayed with the same game plan that has served him well during his successful run in Texas' rotation -- get ground balls and watch the Rangers' defense gobble them up.
Feldman pitched into the seventh inning to win his third consecutive start and the Rangers cooled off the New York Yankees with a 4-2 victory Wednesday night.Fast Facts
• Scott Feldman is one win shy of his win total from his 28 games pitched last season.
• The Rangers won without getting an extra-base hit, the second time this season they have been held without one (they've won both games).
• Andy Pettitte lost for the first time at the new Yankee Stadium but fell to 1-6 in his last seven decisions against the Rangers.
• Jorge Posada's home run means there have been 91 home runs hit at the new Yankee Stadium and at least one home run in all 25 games there. That extended the longest streak of MLB games with a home run from the start of play at any stadium in MLB history.
