Giants break away from Phillies behind Sanchez's two hits, two RBIs
SAN FRANCISCO -- All-Star second baseman Freddy Sanchez waited four days to make his San Francisco Giants debut so his sore left knee could get some extra rest.

• The Giants won for the sixth time in their last seven games as they take three of four from the Phillies.
• Before running into the Giants, the Phillies had lost just three times in their previous 18 games.
• The Giants are now 19-1 when scoring seven or more runs this season.
• Phillies starter Cole Hamels lasted five innings and allowed 10 hits. It's the fifth time in his career he had allowed at least 10 hits and three of those came this season. He fell to 0-4 in day games this season.
