Orioles-Blue Jays game canceled because of rain

Associated Press

DUNEDIN, Fla. -- The spring training game between the Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays has been canceled because of rain.

Blue Jays left-hander Ricky Romero, the scheduled starter for Sunday's game, worked in the batting cage following the rainout.

Left-hander Dana Eveland will start for the Blue Jays on Monday against Detroit Tigers righty Rick Porcello. Orioles right-hander Jeremy Guthrie will start Monday night against the New York Yankees.

Toronto made several moves Sunday, releasing outfielder Joey Gathright and reassigning outfielder Chris Lubanski and infielder Brad Emaus to minor-league camp. The Blue Jays' roster now stands at 33 players.
