ARLINGTON, Texas -- Neftali Feliz got his first opportunity to pitch on consecutive days for the Texas Rangers.
The second go-round wasn't very good for the youngster who often throws 100-mph fastballs.More on the Rangers

Game notes
Smoak drew a walk in the sixth, the last batter faced by Bonderman. That gave Smoak at least one walk in each of his first four career games, a Rangers record and the first player in the majors to do that since Evan Longoria for Tampa Bay in 2008. ... Tigers SS Adam Everett (mild right hamstring strain) missed his second straight game. ... Tigers manager Jim Leyland said RHP Zach Miner, who has been on the disabled list with a right elbow problem since spring training, is throwing off a mound and "is about ready to pitch."
