CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Cole Hamels had another shaky outing, giving up six runs Thursday in the Philadelphia Phillies' 7-3 loss to the Minnesota Twins.

Hamels has struggled in the latter half of spring training. After allowing a total of three earned runs in his first three starts, he has given up 16 runs in his last three.

Hamels retired seven straight batters before Delmon Young doubled high off the left-field wall. Danny Valencia then hit a two-run double and Luke Hughes homered. The home run was the sixth of the spring for the first baseman.

Young hit s three-run home in the fifth off Hamels.

Minnesota right-hander Nick Blackburn stymied the Phillies' lineup. He allowed six hits while striking out five and walking one in six shutout innings.
