SAN FRANCISCO -- In less than two months, Carlos Beltran has been through a cross-country move to switch teams and a hand and wrist injury that landed him on the disabled list.
That left little time to think about his latest milestone: home run No. 300.Beltran connected twice to give him 300 for his career and Tim Lincecum ended a three-start winless stretch in the San Francisco Giants' 3-1 victory over the San Diego Padres on Wednesday that completed a rare sweep in this rivalry.Hunt For October

The team approached Belt last month about going to winter ball. ... All-Star RHP Ryan Vogelsong (10-7) starts Thursday night for the Giants at Colorado while trying to end a five-start losing streak. ...
