Olney: Mets didn't do anything wrong

Buster Olney likened the non-trade to the 2000 presidential election: "The Mets in theory, you can say, why not take him off the field -- if you did that in every game this time of year, you'd be pulling 4 or 5 players off the field for every game for every team." (via Mike & Mike)

The Nats star hit 2 HRs to overtake Giancarlo Stanton for the NL lead. It's the 8th career multi-HR game for Harper, tied for the 5th-most in MLB history by a player before his 23rd birthday. Harper won't turn 23 until October.
