Olney: Kershaw as dominant as ever
Dating back to last year's playoffs, Clayton Kershaw is 2-6 in his last eight starts, but Buster Olney doesn't buy the negativity: "If you look at the numbers behind the numbers, they look exactly the same. In fact, maybe even a little better."
The other side of Ted Williams
Death exposes everyone, and it exposed Ted Williams, stripping away what he'd created as a boy on Utah Street, revealing what he'd tried to hide: He came from damaged people, and he left damaged people behind. Cycle of suffering

Ramirez day-to-day with hurt shoulder
It would be a big loss for the Red Sox if Hanley Ramirez misses significant time, as his 10 home runs are twice as many as any other Red Sox player and are 2nd in baseball to only Nelson Cruz.
