A-Rod, Yankees resolve bonus dispute

New York will donate $2.5 million to the MLB Urban Youth Foundation and $1 million to three other charities after the two sides "amicably" settled a potential dispute over a $6M bonus owed to Alex Rodriguez for tying WIllie Mays' home run total.

A-Rod to get ball from 3,000th hit today

Zack Hample, the fan who caught Alex Rodriguez's 3,000th hit June 19, will present the ball to A-Rod today at 5:30 ET. In exchange, the Yankees will donate $150K to a charity that Hample has supported since 2009. Along with the donation, the Yanks will give Hample memorabilia, tickets and other perks.
