Brandon Moss wasn't having a great start to the season but two homers and a double seem to go with a 13-1 win for the Tribe over the Tigers.

Pineda steals deGrom's spotlight

Mets SP Jacob deGrom's 0.93 ERA entering tonight and 18 1/3 scoreless-innings streak earned all the attention pregame. But Michael Pineda allowed only 1 run in 7 2/3 innings, compared to deGrom's 6 in 5. The Yanks take the first game 6-1. Box score

Rockies keeping pace with Giants

The Giants tacked one more on in the top of the inning, but Charlie Blackmon just sent a Chris Heston ball deep to center and tie the game up at 3 in the bottom of the 3rd. Follow live

Porcello pulled

Rick Porcello started off fast, retiring the first six O's batters with five strikeouts, but things came apart later. Porcello gave up 3 ERs in six innings of work and leaves runners on first and second with nobody out. The Red Sox have a 4-3 lead. Follow live

Back-to-back doubles cut SF lead

Justin Morneau doubled deep to left and Nick Hundley followed that with a double to deep right, bringing Morneau home and cutting the Giants' lead to 2-1 in the bottom of the 2nd. Follow live

Lester solid, with one exception

Cubs SP Jon Lester struck out 10 Reds in his start tonight, but his inability to control the running game hurt him. Billy Hamilton swiped 3 bags off of him and scored 2 runs.

Lester hitting for himself here. At 104 pitches...I like it. Was strongest in last 2 innings. Unless he's still coming out. Then I don't.
