Stopping the running Royals

The Royals love to run, but Madison Bumgarner is one of the best in controlling the bases. This season, he had an MLB-leading nine pickoffs and runners only stole 7-of-17 bases.

Lefty Madison Bumgarner presents a big problem for the Royals, especially for their left-handed bats. Seven of the eight HRs KC has hit in the postseason have come from lefties. However, against Bumgarner lefties have hit only .221/.249/.296 with just two HRs.
