The Giants capped a Dodgers sweep Thursday and did not allow a run in any of the 3 games -- the second time this month the Giants have recorded 3 straight shutouts. According to Elias, San Francisco is the first team to notch 3 straight shutouts twice in the same calendar month since the 1969 Mets -- who went on to win the World Series.
