O's-ChiSox closed to public Wednesday

Wednesday's game in Baltimore will begin at 2:05 p.m. ET but be closed to the public. The weekend series with the Rays has been moved to Tropicana Field. Monday's and today's games are rescheduled for a double-header May 28.

Hamilton back in Rangers garb

New Rangers OF Josh Hamilton spent today at the team's spring training facility in Arizona. The Angels traded him to Texas, where he played from 2008-2012, on Monday.


Nationals recall pitcher A.J. Cole

The 23-year-old RHP was recalled from Triple-A and will make his major league debut tonight against the Braves. He is 0-0 with a 2.40 ERA in three starts for Triple-A this season.

Olney: Phils need to trade Hamels now

White Sox to work out at Camden Yards

With Monday's and today's games in Baltimore postponed due to riots and looting, the White Sox scheduled a workout today, as they haven't played in a game since Sunday. No decision has yet been made to move the series.
