Heathcott scratched from Yanks' lineup

Rookie centerfielder Slade Heathcott was a late scratch from tonight's lineup due to a sore right quad. Heathcott is hitting .353 with a home run and three RBIs in the six games since being called up from Triple-A.

Tanaka could return Tuesday/Wednesday

Joe Girardi said Masahiro Tanaka's next start could come in the MLB. The ace is flying to California (where the team is) after his second rehab start on Wednesday for the Triple-A team. If there are no issues, then Tanaka could start Tuesday or Wednesday in Seattle.

Orioles, White Sox split doubleheader

After getting shut down by Chris Sale in Game 1, Baltimore bats came alive in Game 2, as every member of the lineup had at least one hit to rally for a 6-3 win over Chicago. The doubleheader made up for two games postponed last month because of the riots in Baltimore. Box score
