Olney: Safety of people No. 1 priority
In light of Wednesday's White Sox-Orioles game being closed to the public, Buster Olney said: "The fans. The people who work at the ballpark. The players, of both teams obviously. ... [MLB] feels like they can't assure the safety of those people."
O's-ChiSox closed to public Wednesday
Wednesday's game in Baltimore will begin at 2:05 p.m. ET but will be played in front of an empty stadium. The weekend series with the Rays has been moved to Tropicana Field. Monday's and today's games are rescheduled for a double-header May 28 in Baltimore.
