Aldridge lines up against Jordan

Since the advent of the 3-point line (1979-80 season), LaMarcus Aldridge and Michael Jordan are the only players to lead the NBA in 2-point field goal attempts in 3 consecutive seasons. Aldridge has led in each of the last 3 seasons while Jordan did so in 1995-97 and 1989-92 (4 seasons).

Jordan liked what he heard from Doc and team, I'm told. Didn't want to drag this out but he's genuinely undecided. No timetable on decision.

No typical Thursday night for Aldridge

It's been an eventful day for the prized free agent -- and it's still going on.

ESPN's Ramona Shelburne discusses Dwyane Wade's one-year, $20 million deal with Miami: “I can see why this deal makes sense -- they’re sort of giving him back some of the money he’s left on the table. But he did not get the long-term stability he was looking for."
