HOWARD PASSES SHAQ
Dwight Howard blocked two shots in Orlando's win over Detroit, passing Shaquille O'Neal as the franchise's all-time leader in that category. O'Neal, who blocked 824 shots in 295 games with Orlando (2.8 per game), had been the franchise leader in that category since Jan. 23, 1993 (34 games into his NBA career), when he eclipsed Greg Kite's total of 141. Friday night's game was the 413th of Howard's NBA career, all with the Magic; he's averaged exactly two blocks per game.
