DENVER RALLIES AFTER A BAD FIRST QUARTER
Denver scored only 14 points in the first quarter but then rallied to beat the Bulls 112-93 on Saturday night. It had been 36 years since a team scored that many points in a non-overtime game after scoring fewer than 15 in the opening period. In March 1973, Golden State lost 117-116 to Chicago after scoring 14 points in the first 12 minutes.
