MAGIC'S 3RD-QUARTER SURGE TOPS CELTICS
The Magic scored 19 unanswered points in the third quarter to take a lead they never relinquished in a 96-89 win over the Celtics. It tied the longest run of consecutive points by a visiting team at Boston since Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen joined the Celtics in 2007. The 76ers scored 19 straight points at TD Garden on March 24, 2008. Orlando outscored Boston, 36-11, in the third quarter, falling one point short of the largest scoring margin in one period by a visitor at TD Garden. The Mavericks outscored the Celtics, 37-11, in the third quarter on March 29, 2002.
