Injury unlikely to sideline Rockets' McGrady
It appears the tendinitis in Tracy McGrady's knees that kept him out of the final two preseason games won't keep him out of the Houston Rockets season opener, the Houston Chronicle reported.
McGrady told the paper he was "without a doubt" ready for Wednesday's opener against the Sacramento Kings, just days after coach Jeff Van Gundy expressed hesitation that the All-Star forward would be able to practice, let alone play.
