UConn junior Boone to try NBA draft without agent
STORRS, Conn. -- Connecticut junior forward Josh Boone announced Friday that he will submit his name for the NBA draft in June.
The 6-foot-10 Boone said he has not hired an agent, giving him the option of changing his mind and returning for his senior season.
Boone has averaged nine points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots during his three seasons at UConn.
He spent most of that time playing behind current NBA stars Emeka Okafor and Charlie Villanueva.
