Allen sprains ankle; injury not considered serious

SEATTLE -- Seattle SuperSonics All-Star guard Ray Allen twisted his right ankle during a team scrimmage at practice Wednesday, but the injury wasn't considered serious.

Allen was playing defense on a fast break when he took a bad step and fell to the floor. He quickly got up and headed to the locker room for treatment, limping slightly. Coach Bob Hill didn't consider it significant and Allen should be available to play Friday night against Portland.
