Parker: ankle is 'sore,' hopes to play in Spurs' opener
SAN ANTONIO -- Spurs guard Tony Parker said Wednesday he hopes to play in the season opener at Dallas on Thursday after spraining his right ankle.
"It's pretty sore, pretty sore," Parker said. "But I think I'll be all right. I'll see how I feel tomorrow."
Parker injured his ankle during practice Monday, but X-rays showed it wasn't broken.
