New Sonics to get more time as illness, injury strike

SEATTLE -- Ira Newble and Adrian Griffin weren't given much time to ease into their new surroundings in Seattle.

With illness and injuries sidelining four SuperSonics, the newly acquired Griffin and Newble were expected to get more minutes that they previously thought in their first game with Seattle on Sunday night against the Los Angeles Lakers.
