Thornton leaves game against Wizards with right leg contusion

WASHINGTON -- Forward Al Thornton left the game against the Washington Wizards on Saturday night with a right leg contusion and was ruled out for the rest of the game.
Thornton, a 6-foot-8 rookie from Florida State, was injured late in the second quarter. The Clippers lost 119-109 in overtime.
Thornton, averaging 12 points per game, had eight points in 12 minutes.
