Kings re-sign Udrih to five-year contract

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The Sacramento Kings re-signed point guard Beno Udrih on Wednesday, keeping Mike Bibby's successor with a five-year deal.

The $32.323 million contract pleased both Udrih and coach Reggie Theus, who said he made a strong recommendation to top executive Geoff Petrie to keep Udrih.

He averaged 12.8 points, 4.3 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 32 minutes in 65 games with the Kings. Udrih also scored a career-high 27 points against the Spurs on Nov. 26.
