Bucks' Redd has ACL surgery

MILWAUKEE -- Bucks guard Michael Redd has had surgery to repair the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee that he tore nearly six weeks ago.

Redd was averaging a team-high 21.2 points when he was hurt after he fell on teammate Luke Ridnour in a 106-104 win against Sacramento on Jan. 24.

Redd will begin rehabilitation immediately and should make a full recovery after six months. Redd is expected to be ready for the opening of training camp next season.
