Monta Ellis in starting lineup

NEW YORK -- NBA scoring leader Monta Ellis was in the starting lineup for the Golden State Warriors' 122-117 win at New York, two nights after hurting his back in a fall.

Ellis landed hard in the fourth quarter of the Warriors' victory at Toronto on Monday and was diagnosed with a strained lower back after X-rays and a CT scan. He remained overnight in Canada before rejoining his team Tuesday and taking part in the morning shootaround Wednesday.
