For Melo, free agency full of risks

The Carmelo Anthony trade watch drags on, causing "Melo fatigue" to set in with most of Western civilization. The only solace comes from the hope that this will all be over by next Thursday.

Well, maybe.

If Anthony isn't traded before the Feb. 24 trade deadline and doesn't sign his $65 million extension, he could play the rest of the season in Denver, and we could see a whole new round of Melo Drama when the Nuggets' season ends.
