Kidd replaced by White in Knicks starting lineup

WASHINGTON -- Jason Kidd was out of the New York Knicks' starting lineup against the Washington Wizards on Friday night, replaced by little-used James White.

Kidd started 48 of the other 49 games he appeared in this season for New York.

He checked in for the first time Friday with 7 minutes, 5 seconds gone in the first quarter, taking the place of point guard Raymond Felton. White already had headed to the sideline when sixth man J.R. Smith entered the game.
