• The Spurs have had 10 straight 50-win seasons. The last team with at least 11 straight 50-win seasons was the Lakers from 1979-80 to 1990-91 (12 straight).

• The Spurs are expected to start Tony Parker (a three-time All-Star), Michael Finley (two-time), Richard Jefferson (none), Tim Duncan (11-time) and Antonio McDyess (onetime). Also, sixth man Manu Ginobili made one All-Star team.

The last team to start four former All-Stars in a season opener was the 2007-08 Suns, who started Steve Nash, Shawn Marion, Grant Hill and Amare Stoudemire.

The last team to play five or more former All-Stars in a season opener was the 2006-07 Heat, who played Antoine Walker, Dwyane Wade, Gary Payton, Shaquille O'Neal and Alonzo Mourning.

• The Hornets have won four straight opening night games, the second-longest streak in the league.
