If he accomplishes the feat Monday against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden, Paul (24 years and 180 days old) will be the third-youngest player in NBA history to hit the 3,000 mark, behind Isiah Thomas (23 years, 233 days) and LeBron James (24 years, 67 days). Magic Johnson is currently third, having gone over 3,000 at 24 years and 188 days old.
