The freshman center led the Bruins in scoring (17.5 points) and rebounds (10.6). They lost in the national semifinals to Memphis and finished the season with a 35-4 record.
Love will be accompanied by his father, Stan, and coach Ben Howland at the news conference.
Last Tuesday, the Los Angeles Times reported that Love had decided to make himself available for June's NBA draft.
The following day, Howland dismissed the report that said Love had decided to leave and was expected to hire an agent, which would prevent him from returning to the Bruins next season.
"It's an erroneous report," Howland said, adding Love was very upset about the report because he had yet to discuss his future with his family.
College players have until April 27 to declare for the NBA draft.
Howland said last week that scouts have projected Love as a definite lottery pick who could be selected between fifth and 10th in the draft. The freshman returned home to Lake Oswego, Ore., last week to celebrate his father's birthday and discuss his future with his family.
