X-rays taken in Tokyo after Wednesday night's game showed a
hairline fracture of the fourth metatarsal.
Brand had 21 points, 15 rebounds and a career-high eight blocks
in the Clippers' 109-100 loss.
Brand missed 18 games last season with a stress fracture in his
lower left leg. He averaged 18.5 points and 11.3 rebounds in 62
games last season.
He signed an offer sheet with the Miami Heat in July. The
Clippers retained Brand by matching the offer with a six-year
contract reportedly worth $82.2 million.
