Reserve has surgery on injured finger
Traylor, who suffered the injury in the third quarter of Tuesday's game against the New Jersey Nets, had surgery performed by Dr. Jeffrey Lawton and team physician Dr. Richard Parker on Wednesday at the Cleveland Clinic.
In 18 games with Cleveland this season, the 6-8, 284-lb. Traylor has averaged 5.1 points and 4.0 rebounds in 16.9 minutes off the bench.
In their first game without Traylor, the Cavaliers suffered a 113-85 loss to the lowly Chicago Bulls on Wednesday.
He will miss Friday's game against the Toronto Raptors.
White pleaded guilty to two weapons charges Tuesday in Washington, D.C., and agreed to 100 hours of community service. A third charge was dropped.
He spent two weeks in jail after he and two other men were arrested in September for allegedly shooting randomly into the air.
Brown refused to join a team huddle after the coach Eddie Jordan berated him and the rest of the team for a poor defensive series in the second quarter of Wednesday's 111-105 loss to the Nuggets. Jordan benched Brown for the rest of the game and was excused from Thursday's practice.
Brown will miss Friday's game against the New York Knicks.
"Kwame has been suspended for conduct detrimental to the team, and will rejoin the team on Saturday," Jordan said.
The suspension is the latest setback for a player who has failed to fulfill expectations since being taken No. 1 overall in the 2001 draft.
Brown missed the first 12 games of the season after undergoing surgery on a broken bone in his right foot, which he injured during a summer pickup game. He was ejected in his first game back after an altercation with New Jersey's Jason Collins and has played just 46 minutes and scored 24 points in four games.
