ATLANTA -- Atlanta Hawks point guard Tyronn Lue missed his second straight game Wednesday night because of dental surgery.

Atlanta's leading 3-point shooter (8-of-14) had a root canal on Tuesday. Royal Ivey, who has played in five games, was scheduled to make his first start of the season against Miami.

The Hawks wound up losing to the Miami 96-74, the Heat's first road victory of the season.

In Tuesday's loss at Houston, Hawks rookie Salim Stoudamire started for Lue and scored 14 points but only had one assist.

Lue, averaging 8.3 points and 2.3 assists, may return for Friday's home game against Toronto.
