OAKLAND, Calif. -- Golden State Warriors forward Chris Taft will undergo surgery Tuesday to fix a herniated disc in his back, ending his rookie season.
Taft, a second-round draft pick from Pittsburgh, has missed 46 games this season with the injury, which causes chronic back pain. He hasn't played since Jan. 11, missing the last 32 games, and averaged 2.8 points and 2.1 rebounds in 17 games this season.
