Wade No. 1 in NBA jersey sales
There might be a tight race for the NBA MVP award, but in the eyes of those buying the league's jerseys, Dwyane Wade is the clear winner.

The Miami Heat guard led the league's jersey rankings for the entire season, besting former No. 1 Cleveland Cavaliers guard LeBron James, who was drafted four spots before Wade in the 2003 NBA Draft. The league tabulates the rankings by adding up sales on NBA.com and at the NBA Store in Manhattan.
It's the third straight year that a different NBA star has remained at the top of the rankings for the entire year. Last year, Wade's teammate Shaquille O'Neal was No. 1, and the year before it was James.
Philadelphia 76ers guard Allen Iverson, Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant and Knicks guard Stephon Marbury rounded out the top five. Bryant's No. 4 ranking is one spot up from his position last year.
Despite the dominance of Detroit Pistons this year, only one player on that team, center Ben Wallace, is among the league's top selling jerseys. While the New York Knicks, who own the worst record in the league, have two players on the list, including Marbury and Steve Francis.
The Knicks are also second in team sales behind the Los Angeles Lakers, according to the league's rankings.
