Grizzlies sign first-round pick Lowry to two-year deal
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The Memphis Grizzlies signed top draft pick Kyle Lowry on Friday.
The guard signed a two-year deal with team options for the third and fourth years. Financial terms weren't released.
Lowry, the 24th pick in the draft, played two seasons at Villanova, averaging 9.5 points on 44.9 percent shooting, 3.8 rebounds and three assists.
The 6-foot, 175-pound Lowry is currently participating in the Grizzlies' free agent/rookie camp in preparation for the Summer Pro League in Long Beach, Calif.
